Our Ministries
At FCCBC, every member is called to serve. Our ministries and auxiliaries carry out the work of the church — in worship, in community, and in love.
Many Members, One Body
Since our founding in 1945, the ministries of First Christian Community Baptist Church have been the hands and feet of our congregation. From the Deacon Board to the Youth Ministry, each auxiliary plays a vital role in the life of our church family and the Baltimore community we serve.
Deacon Board
The Deacon Board serves as the spiritual backbone of the church, supporting Pastor Tucker in member care, communion, and the overall welfare of the congregation. Deacons are ordained servants who lead by example in faith and service.
Missionary Society
One of our oldest and most active auxiliaries, the Missionary Society leads our outreach efforts — providing support to families in need, organizing community service projects, and extending the love of Christ beyond our church walls.
Music Ministry
Our choirs and musicians lead the congregation in Spirit-filled praise each Sunday. The Music Ministry includes the Senior Choir, the Youth Choir, and the praise team — all dedicated to glorifying God through song.
Usher Board
The Usher Board ensures that every worshipper is welcomed with warmth and dignity. Ushers serve faithfully each Sunday — greeting members and visitors, maintaining order, and creating an atmosphere of reverence and hospitality.
Youth Ministry
Our Youth Ministry is committed to raising the next generation in faith. Through Bible study, fellowship events, mentorship, and community service, we invest in the spiritual growth and character of our young people.
Women's Ministry
The Women's Ministry provides a space for the women of FCCBC to grow together in faith, encourage one another, and serve the church and community. Activities include Bible study, prayer circles, and outreach initiatives.
Men's Ministry
The Men's Ministry calls the men of FCCBC to spiritual leadership, accountability, and service. Through fellowship, study, and community engagement, our men are equipped to lead in their homes, church, and community.
Sunday School
Sunday School at FCCBC offers Bible education for all ages — from children to adults. Classes meet before morning worship and provide a foundation of scriptural knowledge, discussion, and spiritual formation.
